Rentown Old Fashion Days

Good old-fashioned delights are in store at the 8th annual Rentown Old Fashion Days. Located in tiny Rentown three miles east of the community of Bremen. Steam and antique tractors showcase this event, while threshing, wood carving, cider press and rug weaving demonstrations reveal old skills. Our exciting feature for the 2018 Rentown Old Fashion Day is a custom saw-milling and timber framing craftsman that will show us the old time techniques that go into building a time frame structure – from cutting the logs – to notching for mortise and tenon – to finished structure frame.

The kids will enjoy train rides and adults will love the antique swap meet. Best of all everyone can fill up on food galore, anything from brats and hamburgers to open kettle soup, homemade ice cream and fried pies. Don’t miss the huge bake sale and enjoy a host of other treats, too!
