Free Summer Music Concert Series

Experience the melodies floating through the air. Indiana’s Cool North offers a number of free open-air concert series held amidst lush parks and various picturesque locales. Discover a nearby concert and relax while savoring the culinary offerings from food trucks or other local vendors at many of these events.
Summer Concert Series (Bulldog Park, Crown Point)
Concerts will be held in the Franciscan Health Amphitheater on various Thursdays during the Car Cruise and Saturday nights throughout the summer and fall (June 1 – Oct 7). All concerts are free to attend. See the schedule HERE.
South Shore Summer Music Festival
The Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra is holding free outdoor concerts in your neighborhood July 21 – August 5. Schererville, Hammond, Griffith, Crown Point, Munster … find one near you HERE.
Zao Island Summer Concert Series (Valparaiso)
Every Friday, June 2 to August 25, it’s free admission to concerts featuring talent from the area’s hottest musicians at Zao Island, Valparaiso! See the schedule HERE.
Concerts in the Park – Summer Concert Series (Woodland Park, Portage)
Every Tuesday enjoy a wonderful musical time at the Woodland Park in Portage. Admission is free, but please bring an item for the Portage Food Pantry. See their music line up for July, and August.
Valparaiso Events Summer Concert Series (Central Park Plaza)
Every Thursday, July 13 to August 31 there’s a free concert at the Northwest Health Amphitheater, Central Park Plaza. There’s a different band each week, and there’s something for everyone! See the 2023 concert schedule HERE.
Arts in the Park (Fox Memorial Park, LaPorte)
Thursdays, June 22 through August 24 come to Fox Memorial Park in LaPorte to enjoy fabulous music on a beautiful hillside overlooking Clear Lake. Summer Chill Concert Series (NIBCO Water & Ice Park, Elkhart)
The third Friday of the month, June through September, come to the NIBCO Water & Ice Park in Elkhart for free family-friendly concerts. Completing the fun are food from local vendors and the splash pad! See the schedule HERE.
