Barker Blackout Tours and Halloween Behind-the-Scenes

Discover the untold, spooky side of Michigan City history on Black Out Tours at the Historic Barker Mansion on October 18, 19, 25 and 26.   The 8 pm tours are for families and the more frightening 10 pm tours are for adults only (ages 16 and up). Note that this will not be a haunted house tour with zombies and goblins and we will not be using paranormal equipment to search for ghosts or spirits. This will be, however, a great evening to look at our City’s history with a spooky twist.

Cost is $15 per adult, and $10 per senior or youth. Registration is required via Eventbrite or by calling the mansion at (219) 873-1520 x5.

Join us on October 30 for this special Halloween Behind-the-Scenes tour of Barker Mansion. Guests will be able to explore all 35,000 square feet of the mansion including the boiler room, the Butler’s room, the archives, and many more spaces typically closed to the public. Learn about the history of Halloween and the spooky side of Barker Mansion.  The tour begins at 7pm CST and lasts two hours. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for youth and seniors.
