Boo at the Zoo is Back! Our annual “merry-not-scary” event, returns to the Washington Park Zoo for guests of all ages! Families will love the festive decorations and photo opportunities. Pumpkin Chomping for the animals will take place as part of the Boo festivities. Animal Care Staff will provide animals with plenty of other seasonal goodies as well to stimulate natural behaviors. Guests, young and old, are encouraged to wear their costumes, and every child visitor will receive a goodie bag.

Please note, this is not a trick-or-treating event due to the lingering effects of Covid.   Zoo activities are included with general Zoo admission and free for WPZoo members, but you must have your card and a photo ID.

TBD- Timed-entry tickets or reservations may be required. More details will be coming based on the state’s current COVID status for LaPorte County on October 6th.
