HOMETOWN HOLIDAY CELEBRATION & TWILIGHT CHRISTMAS PARADE

On Saturday there will be tents filled with local products and artisans selling their wares, gift wrapping, product demonstrations, local store happenings, a pancake breakfast, Christmas trees and wreaths to purchase, sleigh rides and more. As you wander the market and town, nibble on festive foods, treats, sip on traditional hot chocolate and specialty drinks; such as spiced cider or mulled wine to keep you warm. Our day will wrap up with the lighting of the park and the town tree and a visit from SANTA in our traditional lighted parade through downtown Chesterton. True to tradition, the event will be open to all and free of charge.

Hometown Holiday Schedule

~ 7-10 AM: Pancake Breakfast with Mrs. Claus at George’s Gyros Spot. Sponsored by Chesterton-Porter Rotary
~ 8 AM – 5 PM: Hometown Holiday Market until 5pm
~ 10 AM – 5 PM: Shop Small Saturday in Business District
~ 10 AM – 2PM: Kid’s art and crafts
~ 5 PM – Hot Coco with the Duneland Kiwanis
~ 5 PM: Park and Tree Lighting Ceremony
~ 5:15 PM: Twilight Parade with Santa on Broadway
~ 7 PM: Visit with Santa in the Park
