Get ready for the last big blast of Summer! A quality day out with your family with fun and learning all rapped up in a festival atmosphere. Steam Train rides and other big steam machines working hard to entertain and enlighten your family. Packed with fun for the whole family as you experience our steam train rides in addition to the many different turn-of-the-century demonstrations of steam power. Other attractions at the Show include riding behind our 1911 HK Porter steam locomotive, a replica 1900’s train depot, a steam-powered sawmill (cutting logs into lumber!), the LaPorte County (IN) Courthouse’s first electric generator plant, steam tractors, a steam crane, and 3 sizes of trains on 3 different track routes that you can ride! Visit the Depot Store, Hesston Steam Museum’s gift shop, where toys and books will keep your little engineer’s imagination chugging along after your visit. Train rides from 10am to 5pm each day of the show and the tractor parade Saturday-Monday! All times are in the central time zone.
