July 03 - July 04, 2018
Celebrate Independence Day in high-flying style at the Legends of the Horse trapeze, acrobatic and equestrian show July 3 and 4 in the spacious Michiana Events Center in Shipshewana. Aerialists swing high above the audience, performing daring feats bound to keep you on the edge of you seat. An all-star cast also includes riders who perform gymnastic feats on horseback in a show billed as a patriotic tribute to America. Shows will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. both evenings with a huge fireworks display at 10 p.m. after the July 4 show.
In addition to high-wire acts and equestrian skills, the all-new show includes comedy, extreme trick riding, and Native American hoop dancing. The troupe itself includes stars who have performed in some of the nation’s largest arenas and worked with circuses such as Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey, as well as in Dolly Parton’s Stampede. You’ll also see Cirque Ma’Ceo performers, part of a family that has been performing around the world for 160 years. The youngest member of the cast is only seven years old and is guaranteed to steal your heart.
Plan to come early to this family-friendly show. The audience is invited to meet both the human and horse cast and pet the ponies in the hour before the show begins. Tickets are available in a wide range of prices. For more information and to order tickets, go to: Cirque Ma’Ceo “Legends of the Horse”
