Forgot your lawn chair! Check-in at the Gazebo for a Middlebury Chamber of Commerce lawn chair (availability – first-come, first-serve)

The festival is set to take place in Downtown Middlebury Parks on September 11and 12, with the Entertainment Tent located in East Park.

Perennial favorites will be back; including homegrown vegetables and fruits, pumpkins, ornamental gourds, vibrant fall mums, live woodcarving, pottery, and Amish artwork.

Visitors are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs or borrow one from the information booth to enjoy the lively musical entertainment offered throughout the weekend in the downtown parks.

Make sure to stop into the Fire Station and enjoy a delicious pork chop dinner.

Be sure not to miss the drive-in movie at dusk, which serves as a prelude to the spectacular Friday night fireworks at the Essenhaus Inn campus.

Participate in the annual Corn Hole Tournament on Saturday, starting at high noon at Brown Street/Memorial Park Side. Entry and exit for attendees will be through the main entrance of Memorial Park and the rear exit onto Brown Street, respectively. Remember to bring lawn chairs.

And of course, don’t forget to indulge in your favorite treats like Amish fried pies, kettle corn, wood-fired pizza, or corn on the cob from the Music Parents Association.

For added convenience, all downtown shops will extend their hours during the festival. Make sure to check out the new stores in downtown Middlebury.
