Legacy of Courage in Bronze and Stone
The Community Veterans Memorial in Munster, is a 6.5-acre park dedicated to honoring those who served in the major military conflicts of the 20th century, including World Wars I and II, Korea, Vietnam, and Desert Storm. Opened on June 1, 2003, the memorial features life-size bronze and granite sculptures set amidst thoughtfully landscaped settings that reflect the landscapes of war-torn lands. A brick pathway links these monuments, allowing visitors to experience each conflict’s unique narrative and symbolism.
