Time to start planning ahead for the best fall events! Fall vibes are in the air even though it might still feel like summer during some of these events. Some are festivals that center around harvest and the symbols of fall - the pumpkins, the corn mazes, the apples, the sunflowers; while others are favorite festivals that annually take place in the fall. Cowles Bog Trail
Imagine a hike through the vibrant colors of black oaks, red maples, birches, and white cedars, interspersed with tamarack pines. The Cowles Bog Trail is a 4.7 mile trail through the lush wetlands and thriving ferns under the canopy of color.
Cowles Bog Trail is an ancient and untouched landscape at the foot of a steep sand dune. It is home to over 400 species of plants, mushrooms and fungi, and has been designated an Important Bird Area by the National Audubon Society.
