Time to start planning ahead for the best fall events! Fall vibes are in the air even though it might still feel like summer during some of these events. Some are festivals that center around harvest and the symbols of fall - the pumpkins, the corn mazes, the apples, the sunflowers; while others are favorite festivals that annually take place in the fall. Marquette Park
Marquette Park at Miller Beach (Gary) along the shores of Lake Michigan, has recently been restored and is a welcoming spot for visitors.
Hiking in the Oak Savannah offers not only gorgeous fall colors, but also biodiversity that is found in few places. Taking a walk allows you to look leisurely for the variety of plant and animal life that exist here.
