Something about fall makes our thoughts turn to those fall beverages. Maybe it's inspired by the Oktoberfests and fall festivals with the beer gardens. Indiana's Cool North is brimming with autumn vibes, offering a variety of choices to embrace the season. Breweries and craft brews, ciders and meads, wines and wineries, not to mention the delicious foods that many of them prepare. Trail 7 at Indiana Dunes State Park - Hike Through Fall Foliage
Trail 7 at Indiana Dune State Park is a great place for a hike through beautiful fall foliage with stunning up close views of the changing seasons.
While hiking, be sure to look for the Sassafras tree with their cheery yellow leaves. But the most unique thing is their three differently shaped leaves. There are mitten, teardrop, and dinosaur track shapes all on the same tree.
