While we adore our snowy adventures in Indiana's Cool North, there are moments when we crave the warmth and comfort of indoor activities. Luckily, we have a myriad of options for those cozy indoor adventures too.  Here's to making some indoor memories with your family and friends!

Explore the Indiana Dunes National Park’s enchanting three-mile-long Miller Woods trail system, meandering through picturesque oak savanna and dune habitats with complimentary snowshoes. The Paul H. Douglas Center in Indiana Dunes National Park offers free snowshoe rentals every day when there’s a minimum 2-inch snow base.

The snowshoes are adjustable and easily attach to hiking or snow boots.  Definitely wear warm, waterproof boots, as the snowshoes don’t keep your feet from getting snow-covered.

The Loop Trail is perfect for beginners or families with young children.  The trail extensions offers more of a challenge.
