Indiana's Cool North hosts a variety of vibrant summer events that draw visitors from near and far. Here are some of the best summer events to experience in the region; everything from our fairs and festivals to our 4th of July celebrations.  Be sure to mark your calendar with your favorites or find a new one to explore.

La Patrona Food Truck (formerly Cabo's Ice Cream Shop & Cafe)

 

Cabo’s Ice Cream Shop in downtown Michigan City was the LaPorte County winner of the Taco Wars in Indiana’s Cool North.  You can still buy their tacos, but now it’s out of the La Patrona of Michigan City Food Truck, rather than in their storefront downtown.
