Fall is packed with family friendly opportunities in Indiana's Cool North! The days are cooler, inspiring us to get out before the chill of winter moves in. The leaves are changing colors and add that beautiful backdrop to all the fun activities that fall offers. Whether you decide to enjoy fall inspired activities, like apples, pumpkins, or corn mazes, or just enjoy doing some of our attractions when the weather is cooler, you will have plenty to chose from!
City of LaPorte Hiking Trails
The City of LaPorte has a number of hiking trails; the majority of them offer glimpses of their three lakes. The Clear Lake Trail allows for pedestrians to enjoy the shore of Clear Lake in Fox Park. The Chessie Trail is located on the east shore of Pine Lake. Kesling Park, on the southern edge of the city, has walking and nature trails, in addition to Fort La Play Porte. Soldiers Memorial Park is on Stone Lake, and connects to Pine Lake.
