The Halloween Market in Chesterton adds seasonal charm with pumpkin decorating, a kids’ costume parade, trick-or-treating at vendor booths, and festive crafts. From the Wakarusa Pumpkin Tree to the Hesston Ghost Train and beyond, the region is packed with festive events, giving families plenty of opportunities to enjoy a full season of Halloween fun throughout Indiana’s Cool North.
A Treasure Trove of American Art in Elkhart

The Midwest Museum of American Art in downtown Elkhart occupies a grand neoclassical bank building and houses over 6,000 works of 19th-, 20th-, and 21st-century American art. Highlights include the largest public collection of Rockwell lithographs in the country, rare Overbeck pottery, works by Grant Wood, Grandma Moses, and ever-changing exhibits like the Elkhart Juried Regional.
