Indiana's Cool North offers a variety of family-friendly Halloween events perfect for all ages. In Lowell, the Pumpkin Glow Trail at Harvest Tyme Family Farm dazzles visitors with thousands of LED lights and jack-o’-lanterns. The Halloween Market in Chesterton adds seasonal charm with pumpkin decorating, a kids’ costume parade, trick-or-treating at vendor booths, and festive crafts. From the Wakarusa Pumpkin Tree to the Hesston Ghost Train and beyond, the region is packed with festive events, giving families plenty of opportunities to enjoy a full season of Halloween fun throughout Indiana’s Cool North.
Candy Cane Express: A Festive Ride

The Candy Cane Express at Hesston Steam Museum is a festive holiday train ride for the whole family. Guests board a seasonally decorated train and enjoy a magical journey through the grounds. Be sure to grab a hot chocolate at Doc’s Soda Fountain to complete the cozy, holiday experience.
