Great Lakes Grand Prix - Feel the Rumble
Feel the rumble of 3,000 horsepower engines when some of the fastest and most colorful powerboats roar across Lake Michigan at speeds nearing 200 miles per hour. The LaPorte County Convention and Visitors Bureau hosts the Annual Great Lakes Grand Prix off the shores of Washington Park in August. Join in the celebration with concerts, a boat parade and a huge block and boat party where you will be able to meet the teams and see the boats up close. There’s plenty of food and fun each day.
