Enjoy the shores of Lake Michigan in beautiful Washington Park. This 140-acre park has 2 miles of pristine beach, where you can search for sea shells or beach glass, build sand castles, or take a hike along the catwalk out to the lighthouse.
The Washington Park Zoo, and Sunset Grille are nearby, as well as concessions, public art, amphitheater, a marina, public fishing and fish cleaning station, boat launch, picnic shelters, and historical monuments.
