We can't believe it either, but holiday and winter events are starting soon, even though the colors and weather still say fall! Some of our holiday events start early in Indiana's Cool North, and we want to make sure you have the dates on your calendar. We have diverse things to offer this holiday season, whether it is enjoying holiday lights, shopping at a craft show or German market, or being entertained at a musical or beer and wine fest. Here's a list of our Top 10 holiday and winter events.
Magic of Lights
November 19, 2021 – January 2, 2022
Magic of Lights is a drive through experience designed for you to enjoy the lights and displays from the safety and comfort of your family car. Nearly a million lights sparkle along the mile and a half Magic of Lights route at the LaPorte County Fairgrounds. It includes familiar favorite holiday scenes and characters that warm the heart and create special family memories across the generations. This year’s event features a variety of festive scenes to celebrate the Season including 12 Days of Christmas, Tropical Holidays, Santa’s Mountain, a Jolly Holiday Village, and the notorious Enchanting Tunnel of Lights.
