We have searched through our Top 15 lists and pulled together ten things to do if you want to get out, but are not ready to travel by plane. Most are outdoor, some completely on your own in your car, and others are for smaller groups. We encourage you to follow current guidelines for face masks, hand washing and social distancing.

Celebrating over 70 years, Carlson’s is still making root beer the old-fashioned way; creamy foam-topped root beer deliciously served in a tall frosty mug! Our carhops serve up 100% all-beef, bun-length hot dogs, the freshest ingredients and many homemade items, including homemade chili and BBQ pork, cooked to order the old-fashion way! Bubbles Old Fashioned Ice Cream Parlor and Pie Shoppe is across the street, serving their super-premium, hormone free ice cream. They are already open for their 18th season, 7 days a week, noon to 9pm.
