It's July, and we are having a heat wave! But never fear, Indiana's Cool North has ways to cool off. Here are our Top 10 ways to beat the heat, from beaches to splash pads and even some indoor activities to get out of the sun. See more waterfront ideas here!
Thistleberry Farm: Sunflowers & Lavender
Considering pictures in the fields of sunflowers or lavender? Thistleberry Farm in South Bend will be opening their fields in September. A u-pick pumpkin patch will open October 1. (Pre-picked pumpkins are available in September).
The cow train and corn maze, along with other fun activities are free with your admission.
They also have several extra-charge activities…pony rides, crazy crossfire and the apple cannon. All for great family fun!
