Washington Park Zoo
Washington Park Zoo, opening April 1, is located along the shores of Lake Michigan right next to the city’s Washington Park. Animal lovers and nature enthusiasts will find plenty to love about the zoo in Michigan City —located on 15 acres near Lake Michigan. You’ll have the pleasure of seeing over 90 different species of animals, including Bengal tigers, bald eagles, grizzly bears, and otters, just to name a few The zoo houses more than 90 species from all over the world.
