Diana Dare Dunes
Dare to be different! The Diana Dunes Dare is a new hiking challenge at the Indiana Dunes National Park. The dare follows the Dune Succession Trail at the national park’s West Beach and tells the story of Alice Mabel Gray, known as “Diana of the Dunes” of regional folklore. This scenic, but strenuous, trail includes a climb up lots of stairs for a spectacular view of Lake Michigan and Chicago.
Once you’ve completed the dare, stop by the Indiana Dunes Visitor Center to receive a bumper sticker as a reward. Don’t forget to visit the official Indiana Dunes merchandise store for Diana Dunes Dare apparel!
