Top 10 Fall Events in Indiana’s Cool North

Fall is one of our favorite times in northern Indiana. Not only are the fall colors stunning, but our fall festivals are some of our best, and the cooler weather makes it more pleasant to be outside. We have a list of our top fall events, everything from pumpkins and Oktoberfests (and some are not in October -- so mark your calendar!) to 0utdoor celebrations of fall. Oak Savannah Trail
This paved multi-use path starts at Oak Ridge Prairie County Park in Griffith. Bicyclists find this 9.5 mile trail. a favorite place to bike, because it is generally flat and has over and underpasses for the major highways.
The trail is surrounded by mature oak trees, making for a beautiful fall bike ride.
If you are ready for an even longer bike ride, the trail connects to the Prairie Duneland Trail and the Erie Lackawanna
