Fall is one of our favorite times in northern Indiana. Not only are the fall colors stunning, but our fall festivals are some of our best, and the cooler weather makes it more pleasant to be outside. We have a list of our top fall events, everything from pumpkins and Oktoberfests (and some are not in October -- so mark your calendar!) to 0utdoor celebrations of fall. Thistleberry Farm: Sunflowers & Lavender
Considering pictures in the fields of sunflowers or lavender? Thistleberry Farm in South Bend will be opening their fields in September. A u-pick pumpkin patch will open October 1. (Pre-picked pumpkins are available in September).
The cow train and corn maze, along with other fun activities are free with your admission.
They also have several extra-charge activities…pony rides, crazy crossfire and the apple cannon. All for great family fun!
