Fall is one of our favorite times in northern Indiana. Not only are the fall colors stunning, but our fall festivals are some of our best, and the cooler weather makes it more pleasant to be outside. We have a list of our top fall events, everything from pumpkins and Oktoberfests (and some are not in October -- so mark your calendar!) to 0utdoor celebrations of fall. If you opt for viewing the fall colors from your car, then plan a leisurely drive down Highway 12. The east and west highway goes through the northern part of Indiana and through Indiana Dunes National Park.
