Fall is one of our favorite times in northern Indiana. Not only are the fall colors stunning, but our fall festivals are some of our best, and the cooler weather makes it more pleasant to be outside. We have a list of our top fall events, everything from pumpkins and Oktoberfests (and some are not in October -- so mark your calendar!) to 0utdoor celebrations of fall. View Thousands of Sandhill Cranes
There are fall colors in more than the leaves! The autumn sunsets provide a colorful backdrop for the sandhill cranes.
View thousands of the cranes as they migrate and stop over at the Jasper-Pulaski Fish & Wildlife Area. Migration begins in October and prime viewing is in late November.
